Ultrasonic Welding Cell
Ideal for joining non-ferrous metals, ultrasonic welding offers several advantages over other methods. Besides requiring a shorter welding time, there's no heat dissipation, no consumables are used, and the welds are more consistent, resulting in stronger bonds compared to other welding methods.
Processing performed on average 1.0 seconds
Short cooling and/or drying time
The welded parts are free from burrs.
Allows use in packaging of food products and similar products
No pre-treatments are necessary
High processing reliability due to uniformity of applied ultrasonic energy
Allows processing of parts containing flammable or explosive products without risk of explosion
Among Others

MCK designs and develops robotic ultrasonic welding cells for a wide variety of thermoplastic products. We develop projects with high-tech automation capabilities for precise control of the welding process.

Ultrasonic thermoplastic welding is a welding process in which frictional heat is generated in the plastic through mechanical oscillations. These oscillations energize the plastic molecules, causing them to move. The plastic softens and begins to melt. The components are joined together by complementary or material bonding. After a brief pressure hold, they remain bonded at the molecular level.
MCK is a company that uses high technology to implement and automate ultrasonic welding processes.
Robotic welding is guided by a high-capacity, high-precision robot, providing great profitability to the entire process.
Combined with experience gained from previous projects and a highly skilled team in robotic welding, MCK has the know-how to develop advanced ultrasonic welding solutions.
